Well established non-profit organization located in the San Gabriel area is looking for a Controller. While overseeing a small accounting team and reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be responsible for the day to day accounting functions of the organization. Duties for the Controller include ensuring efficient accounting policies and procedures (i.e., fiscal budget process, regulatory and government audits, overseeing month / quarter/ year-end closes, A/P, A/R, payroll, etc.). The Controller will also review payroll, conduct business analytics, help manage government grants and funded programs, lead cyclical audits, prepare regulatory compliance documents, prepare tax filings, as well as partake in strategic business operations decisions.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Must have strong non-profit industry / government funded program experience.
• CPA and / or MBA is preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• At least four years of experience in a management capacity.
• Strong systems skills - including Excel.
• $130 - 140k.
